FUND MANAGEMENT
Expert Committee
The Committee oversees the management and long-term value of the Fund’s real estate portfolio. Its work is centred on a formal semi-annual review of property valuations, supplemented by additional meetings whenever market conditions require. Based on these reviews, the Committee provides targeted recommendations and solutions designed to protect the Fund’s assets and the interests of its investors.
PhDr. Ing. Zdenka Klapalová, CSc.
MRICS, Partner at Knight Frank & President of the Association for Real Estate Market Development
Zdenka graduated from the Prague University of Economics and Business, where she subsequently pursued an academic career. She later studied psychology at Charles University, earning a doctoral degree. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), she is Managing Partner of Knight Frank’s Czech operations, which have been active in the local market for more than 30 years. She also serves as President of the Association for Real Estate Market Development, where she has spent over two decades advancing professional standards and contributing to the continued development of the Czech real estate market.
Ing. Jakub Štěpán, MSc.
Head of Valuation at CBRE
Jakub holds a Master’s degree from the Prague University of Economics and Business, specialising in finance and business valuation, as well as an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Jakub joined CBRE in 2008 and progressed from an analyst role to lead the firm’s valuation practice. His responsibilities include coordinating approximately 60 professionals across 12 countries. The department advises leading investors, investment funds, property developers and financial institutions.

Senior Commercial Real Estate Supervisor at Česká spořitelna
Martin began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 within the investment team at Cushman & Wakefield, advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial properties. In 2010, he joined the firm’s valuation department, where he progressed to Partner and specialised in valuing a broad range of commercial real estate assets, from individual properties to large-scale portfolios. Since 2021, Martin has served as Senior Supervisor of Commercial Real Estate Valuations at Česká spořitelna, overseeing valuation processes across the bank’s commercial real estate activities. He has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), specialising in property valuation, since 2013.
