Prague, July 1, 2025 – Czech investment group Axelor has announced the strengthening of its real estate team. The expansion of the Aurelia Fund will be led by British manager Fraser Watson. New Head of Real Estate is an experienced professional who spent more than 20 years in the commercial real estate segment across European markets.

Fraser Watson began his professional career in the United Kingdom, where he obtained, among other things, the RICS professional qualification. He has been based in Prague since 2007, where he started in the investment department of Cushman & Wakefield. Subsequently, he managed the Central European expansion of AmRest and later SportsDirect.com, where he was responsible for the strategy and management of an extensive portfolio of 250 retail stores in 16 European countries. In 2018, he joined the investment team at Savills and became Head of Investments for the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 2023.
During his career, he has advised on transactions with a total volume of more than EUR 3 billion and carried out asset valuations worth more than EUR 2 billion in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. His key projects to date include the sale of the Myslbek shopping centre in the centre of Prague, the acquisition of the Polish retail portfolio of the Cromwell company (6 assets totalling more than 220,000 m²) and representing the real estate agency Hines in the acquisition of CPI's industrial portfolio.
"Axelor's top management has a long history of delivering exceptional results and I look forward to building on this together. The startup mentality of hard work combined with outstanding professionalism and a drive to succeed makes this company an attractive place to be in the future. I look forward to being a part of an ambitious team and contributing to the growth of the Aurelia Fund as I committed to investors at its inception - with an emphasis on professional detail and long-term asset appreciation," said Fraser Watson.
"The arrival of Fraser represents an important step in the execution of our strategy to strengthen the Group and the Aurelia Fund with experienced and senior managers, as we are doing in other areas. It is a strong signal that we have the ambition and ability to succeed in the property market and be a major player. We expect Fraser to be the cornerstone around which we will build an experienced investment and asset management team with an excellent track record," adds Pavel Svoreň, Chairman of AXELOR Group.
